This is a remarkable award for Peter for a seasoned professional who demands the most from himself and his players, both in matches and in training. Peter had a cracking year at South Melbourne in 2010, keeping the club out of the relegation zone.
Not withstanding the well deserved honour bestowed on Peter, lets all remind ourselves, Peter was in hospital in November 2009 having a tumour removed from his head. This, I believe, shows the determination and dedication this man and his character has to be the best he can be.
Everybody should learn from this achievement and determination.
On a side note Peter Zois has signed for Oakleigh Cannons for the 2011 VPL season, leaving South Melbourne.
