Season that was – 2010: Part 1′,’James Accadia – Boronia JSC
James was a member of the U12 team which won the U12E East- North East competition and also played 4 games with the U14 team who were runners-up in the U14D Boys East- North East competition.
As the U12s goalkeeper, James conceded 13 goals in 16 matches. After securing top spot by beating 2nd placed Montrose, the team then went on to play the winner of the U12D East- North East winners Croydon City Arrows, but unfortunately lost both games.
James was also given the opportunity to play 4 games with the clubs U14 side throughout the season and did extremely well. He was one of the main contributors in the teams final game of the season with an away draw against 3rd placed DOC United, to secure 2nd place.

Ben Johnstone Traralgon Olympians FC
U14 Traralgon Olympians ended with a goal difference of +122. Scoring 129 and conceding 7 in 15 games.BJ even scored a couple for the season.
Reserves ended the season 3rd and lost to Churchill in the top 4 semi final last weekend. Close game.However they are still in the League Cup final on 26th Sept.
Ben also played in three senior games to cover for an injured No #1 Keeper.

Chris Maynard South Melbourne U18 & U21
With South Melbourne U18/1s(Purple) Chris Maynard conceded the least amount of goals in the league for the 2010 season.18 goals against with 7 clean sheets, including 2 clean sheets against top 4 teams, from 18 games. Chris played 100% of all games. Started 18 games, 0 subs. South Melbourne 18/1s (purple) won the league by 3 pts. CHAMPIONS. P18, W16, D0, L2, GF49, GA18, GD31, 48 PtsThey also won, Champion of Champions, defeating North Caulfield in the two legged final series. In game 1, Chris had a man of the match performance with another clean sheet against a very good Nth Caulfield team. South won 1 v 0. In game 2 the teams battled out a hard fought 2 v 2 draw with Chris again instrumental in the outcome. South Melbourne won the Champions play off, 1 win 1 Draw, 3 v 2 on aggregate.Chris was also a team member of the Championship winning South Melbourne VPL U/21 Reserves, who won the league by 14 pts with two games in hand.

We finished 2nd and got promoted to As, we conceded 36, first conceded 34 and third conceded 32. So, fantastic season overall.

My team came top of the ladder and won the finals so next year we are being promoted to the As. My team scored 99 goals in the home and away season and conceded only about 10.Well done to everyone and thanks for your efforts in 2010
