Earlier this year in February, after winning the ‘TK’ Scholarship, I had the opportunity to travel to the UK to train with some of the most famous clubs in the world.

Within the first 24 hours of arrival, I was eager to somehow get tickets to the Manchester City v Tottenham Spurs game. Thanks to some dodgy tickets outside of Etihad Stadium, the experience I had at the game was truly unforgettable!

I had the privilege of training with Stoke City, Notts County, Leicester and Liverpool. All of the girls were very welcoming on arrival, and I was fortunate enough to train with very experienced goalkeepers, including the second and third goalkeeper for the England Women’s National Team. The experience has enabled me to learn, and take away skills that have already helped me become a better goalkeeper.

Additionally, I was also able to do some sightseeing around the UK, including travelling to Liverpool, Chester, Warwick Castle and Stratford-Upon-Avon, as well as getting some pictures in front of some of the most famous stadiums in the world!

I’d like to thank everyone who helped me get to the UK for a once in a lifetime experience, including all of the coaches at PFT and my parents. Special thanks go out to Eric Steele for all of the effort he put in to make my stay in the UK worthwhile. Without his help, this trip wouldn’t have been possible!
