Goalkeepers make A League Academy squads

Four PFT goalkeepers were selected for A League academy squads at the end on 2022.

PFT are obviously very proud of these young goalkeepers having seen their succuss being achieved through their hard work and determination.

Also James Batzias (who worked with PFT for the last 3 months of 2022) also singed for WUFC U16s

Three PFT Goalkeepers made Victorian state squads in 2022.

Goalkeepers signs in the UK

Aspiring 17 year old PFT goalkeeper Callum Fisher ventured off the to UK in late 2022 and was able to sign a U21s contract with a North Britain club – South Sheilds FC.

In the upcoming 2022/23 season, Callum will be playing games with their U21s squad and hoping to push onto a professional contact in 2023.

Goalkeepers trains in the USA and with the Melbourne Victory Academy

Our very talented female goalkeeper Issy Rutherford was able to have two weeks training with Legends FC in Southern California where she showed some great promise.

Issy also saw out 2022 working with the Melbourne Victory women’s academy
