Lucas Spinella, PFT goalkeeper in 2011 has landed a place in the Australian Institute of Sport AIS in 2012.

On the back of a great Institute Challenge tournament in Canberra in Nov 2012 and making the “All Star” team, Lucas accepted a place in the AIS.

This is a great achievement for a remarkable, young athlete who has set a very determined goal of playing football at the highest level. Lucas has achieved the first stage of  his goal, and attracted a lot of attention along the way. By pushing himself and not allowing himself in being “Just Another” goalkeeper, he has gained a great reputation for a quality goalkeeper. His work, communication and awareness in matches (Tactical) and well as his shot stopping abilities has made him a quality “All Round” goalkeeper

We wish Lucas the best of luck for 2012 and into the future and I hope he never forgets PFT and the friends he has made here……………Well Done Lucas – We are all very proud of you!
